Experience Cha No Yu (with green tea and Japanese sweets)

First, the instructor  will serve you Japanese sweets and a cup of green tea so that you know the atmosphere of Cha No Yu. Next, she will tell you basic principles of Cha No Yu showing you a very interesting movie and tea equipment. Finally, she will ask you to make the tea by yourself using Chasen (tea whisk made of bamboo).
In the room , the attendants will see a hanging scroll (with calligraphy/black and white) , one of the most important equipment as it symbolizes the concept of the ceremony. The attendants are also welcomed by a container with flowers of season.
The instructor, Ms. Makiko Kondo, is a qualified and experienced Cha No Yu instructor of Omotesenke school. She has started teaching Cha No Yu since 1989.
